Ra Whakangahau

Ten students in our class are part of our Ra Whakangahau group.
They performed a dress rehearsal today. We were so proud of them

Boat Building

We are designing boats that will carry one student across the width of the pool. 

Dive Zone Visit

Some true 'Give It A Go' students visited the Dive Zone yesterday. They learned how to take a Giant Stride into the water, tip backwards off a boat, huddle, form a survival chain and get under a boat to find air. Some great safety and survival lessons.

Fantastic Fish

Billy George and Larissa's dad brought us in some fish today.
We had to research to find out what they were.
Once we discovered they were Carpet Sharks we found out how long they grow and measured that length outside on the concrete.
