Bob Marley Back Up Band

We are learning about Music Legends - Bob Marley is our Legend for the term. Not quite 'The Wailers' but getting there.

Music - Beethoven's Ode To Joy

Mr E introduced us to Beethoven this week. We had a go at playing Ode To Joy on the glockenspiels. It is a work in progress but we are looking forward to this week's lesson. We have to be careful to make sure our stick bounces off the keys to give a clear sound.

Music lessons

We had our second music lesson today and were playing on the marimbas, keyboards and using percussion instruments to accompany one of the choir songs. Rikihana volunteered to sing the chorus for us. I was impressed with how many children volunteered to sing solo in front of the class. They were very keen to use the microphone.

Music Lessons

Today was awesome as we had our first music lesson with Mr E.
The children had the opportunity to play 3 different instruments - the marimba, keyboard and percussion. It was awesome.

We are so very fortunate to have this opportunity.
