Crafts for the Country Fair

We have been very busy in class making crafts for the Country Fair. This has involved quite a lot of small motor skills. - threading tiny beads, gluing without burning themselves with the glu-gun and scissors precision. Come to the Craft Stall on Saturday.

Popsicle stick houses

A challenge throughout the day, when we have free time, is to build Popsicle stick houses using the hot glue gun and popsicle sticks. Some children have researched some cool looking houses using our Chrome books. 

We have already learnt that it is easier to glue the sticks to batons at the back rather than try to glue the long sides of each stick to each other. Plus it will mean it is stronger.
